Ministry of Food Ration Book issued to Barbara Baker of Ingatestone, Essex. Her son Bill's family now lives in Stock. The book shows that Barbara was registered with H Wright & Son of Ingatestone for meat, and Green's Stores, 40 High Street, Ingatestone for other groceries. Around that time H Wright & Son also had a butcher's shop in Stock, on the corner of Back Lane.
The Ration Book measures 13cm x 11cm and runs into 26 pages. The book is in good condition, although some coupons were cut cut out whilst in use.
